Fall Rehearsal

PLEASE NOTE: The Hudson Mohawk Chorale is requiring all singers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to participate this season. You are required to bring proof of completed vaccination series (two doses for Pfizer or Moderna, and one dose for Johnson & Johnson) and a minimum of two weeks have passed since your last dose in the series. Acceptable proof is your vaccination card, a copy or picture of your vaccination card, or an Excelsior Pass.

Shakespeare & Company

The 60-voice mixed choir will sing a wide variety of selections celebrating the work of Shakespeare. "Songs and Sonnets" by George Shearing, words by William Shakespeare, a cycle of seven movements set in an easy jazz style."When Icicles Hang" by John Rutter, texts by Shakespeare, and, a premiere of 2 pieces on Shakespeare's words by Alfred Fedak.

The public is cordially invited to attend this very special concert as well as the reception which will follow the performance. $20 tickets will be available at the door, but discounted advance tickets ($16) will be available for purchase online from brownpapertickets.com or from members of the chorus in the future. Admission is free for students with ID.

Summer Sing

Date: August 19, 2019 7:00 - 9:00 PM

Where: Macedonia Baptist Church

26 Wilson Ave, Albany, NY

Read through a number of pieces, some familiar and some not, both sacred and secular. Friends and family are also invited to come! Light refreshments will be served. Ample parking lot. Handicapped accessible.

Please drop us a brief "Yes/Maybe/No"-reply via email so we can be sure to have enough music on hand. Please bring spouses, partners, friends, etc., to sing or to listen - they are welcome!
